CNC Routing

-
Subtractive manufacturing
Subtractive manufacturing is the process of taking a large block of material and machining or cutting it down to the final net shape.
Specifically, for CNC routing, a cutting tool is moved in 3-axis (primarily in the flat X-Y plane) to remove material.
-
applications
This process is ideal for woodworking or sign making but is an excellent option for any project that requires precession cutting.
With a wide variety of material options including foam, wood, MDF, PVC, acrylic, and even some metals like brass and aluminum this process can be used to add a level of precision and repeatability to any project.
Also, in conjunction with our CAD services, we can use Computer Aided Manufacturing (CAM) to generate g-code to carve complex 3-dimensional surfaces and geometries.
