Additive Manufacturing: Rapid Prototyping / 3D Printing

Processes

  • Additive manufacturing

Additive manufacturing (AM) is the process of generating a part layer by layer until the desired net shape is achieved.

This process is most renowned for its ability to generate complex internal geometries that can not be achieved through conventional methods like casting and machining.

Additionally, there can be a substantial reduction in waste since you only use the amount of material needed to create the part.

Waste can be reduced further by designing for AM upfront. Part geometries can be adjusted around certain design rules to minimize support structures and post processing.

  • Masked Stereolithography with Photopolymer Resin

    Build Volume up to 330mm x 185mm x 400mm

    Resolution down to 28.5 microns

  • Fused Deposition Modeling with Thermoplastic Filament

    220mm x 220mm x 250mm

  • Prototypes

We like to say “Fail Fast” because it is important to iterate through designs quickly to achieve your project goals.

We can provide tangible models for mockup, test fitting, presentations, and client approval.

  • Functional Parts

We can provide end use parts at a fraction of the cost compared to large scale manufacturing methods.

Additionally, with no upfront tooling costs or long lead times, we can iterate quickly to meet changing design specification or customer requirements in real time.

From a one-off part to productions batches ranging from dozens to thousands of pieces, we have you covered.

  • Scale Models

We can generate scale models of your larger projects for customer presentations or promotions.

  • Tooling Fixtures, Jigs, Molds

We can create work holding fixtures, assembly jigs, and molds for your current or future projects to facilitate a lean manufacturing environment.

  • Artistic & Maker Tools

We can help envision new tools for makers and artists

Ceramic / pottery stamps to sign your work or create new designs.

Leather tooling for embossing / debossing logos and designs.

    Custom blocks for print making.

Stamping and forming dies for light metal work

    Routing templates for wood working

  • Branding

Custom branding can be incorporated into your design so your products can be easily identifiable.

Promotional branded products can be created to advertise your business at trade shows and events, or as gifts.

Branded stamps can be used for low-cost custom packaging.
